How a Kingsize Mattress With Your Soulmate Makes Loving Everything Possible.

Once we reach a certain age, getting up in the morning takes extra effort. So here’s the dilemma my ‘sweet pea’ and I face.

First, we have the most comfortable hotel-quality bed imaginable. Our king-size beauty hosts two feet thick Posturepedic memory foam support technology created by Sealy to relieve pain and improve sleep quality.

We (together or solo) sleep, nap, write, meditate, pray and do ‘all things pleasing’ (wink) on our memory foam (now, if only I could remember where I put my keys — eh!)

Sealy’s Posturepedic technology is designed to help provide targeted comfort and support right where you need it: Motion isolation, ease of movement, and increased airflow.

Toss in a mid-day nap, fresh breeze, moon or sunshine flowing through an open floor-to-ceiling window with a south-facing penthouse view, and you’ve got pure bliss!

Through a perfectly aligned window to the left of the headboard, we gaze over a south penthouse view to appreciate Toronto’s moving Skyline. A squint will catch the glitter of Lake Ontario’s shoreline, and a peek of Toronto Harbour, where our sailboat lives.

Alhamdulillah, every day we wake and doze, surrounded by a pile of fluffy pillows covered in an oversized down-filled comforter, feeling the safe, pure love a soulmate’s breath and heartbeat offers inches from each other’s chest. Toes are touching at the foot of the bed. — There’s no higher aspiration than living and loving such profound significance, connection, belonging, contribution and personal growth.

Weather patterns fill our gaze as we imagine overlooking a rainforest or faraway place in our Avatar-like dreams.

Chirping birds, urban sirens, and howling winds remind us we’re alive.

Like clockwork, one of us wakes for a sit-down pee. (not in bed, of course) If the evening candle that adorns the antique dresser still flickers, it’s a sign we can crawl back into our cacoon for more hours of spooning comfort.

A kingsized bed allows a solo occupant the quirky option to sleep at a perpendicular angle to the headboard, hog pillows and roll over from side to side, top to bottom, for a fresh feel from dream-soaked sheets.

Typically my soulmate and I act like a pair of lion kings, contently rolling onto each other, limbs tangled and not a care in the world, knowing we’re loved.

In comfort,
